We live in the beautiful small town of Gays Mills, WI with our 3 beautiful children. Our family is the most important part of our lives and if we aren’t at one of their sporting events or spending time outdoors together, we are dreaming of hosting & creating intentional spaces that are peaceful, thoughtfully designed and set apart from the pace of everyday life.

As a couple we love exploring new places to visit, especially if it has a spa-like experience! After several visits we’ve realized that too often it feels crowded, busy, and disconnected from quality time & rest we are seeking.

That led to the extended vision behind the Dwelling Place— a private, spa-inspired retreat for couples designed for quiet, connection, and uninterrupted time together. No crowds. No rushing. Just space to slow down and be fully present. Life is best lived with intention and we have created ways to make getting away more intentional and filled with ways to connect. Whether that is adding a special package to your stay or just enjoying the complimentary details added throughout the property & cabins, we hope everyone leaves feeling refreshed!
